San Diego Mattress Removal is a service provided by Fred's Junk Removal — San Diego’s top-rated and most trusted junk removal service
Mattress removal in Coronado · ZIP 92118
We pick up mattresses and box springs in Coronado and the streets around it — Coronado Village, Coronado Cays, Glorietta, and more. A typical stop is under twenty minutes. The steel, foam, and fabric go to recycling, not a canyon.

The city’s favorite mattress recycler.
We’ve removed over 50,000 mattresses.
Say bye bye to your mattress.
Steel, foam, and fiber go back to work.

We cover Coronado and these nearby spots. Walk-ups, HOAs, and gates are normal for us.
Bye Bye Mattress
California charges a recycling fee when a new mattress or box spring is sold. That money pays to collect and recycle the old ones instead of burying them. You can drop one off free at Miramar Landfill on weekdays, 7am–3pm, if you can get it there. A lot of people would rather not wrestle a king into a truck. That’s what we do.
01
You buy a mattress
The recycling fee is already on the receipt. That’s what pays for the program.
02
We pick yours up
Curbside or full service in Coronado. You don’t have to drive it to Convoy Street.
03
It gets taken apart
Steel, foam, fabric, and wood get sorted the same day.

Recycling
We don’t leave them in alleys. The coils become scrap metal. Foam becomes carpet pad. Fabric gets shredded. Most of a mattress can be reused if someone actually takes it apart.
