Mattress disposal
Mattress disposal in San Diego.
San Diego doesn’t want a mattress sitting on the curb for a week, and it doesn’t want one in a canyon. Someone has to take it to a collection site or a recycler. That can be you at Miramar, or us at the bedroom door.
The city’s favorite mattress recycler.
We’ve removed over 50,000 mattresses.
Say bye bye to your mattress.
Steel, foam, and fiber go back to work.
How it works
The right way to get rid of one.
01
Don’t leave it in the alley
Rules change by building and HOA. A mattress left out overnight is how you get a notice, or a photo from a neighbor.
02
Don’t drive it if you don’t want to
The city collection site at 5161 Convoy St is free weekdays 7am–3pm. You need a truck, a strap, and a dry, uninfested unit.
03
Or text us a photo
Send a photo on the price form, we show up in a window, and take it. Disposal here means recycling, not a dump run.

What we will and won’t take.
- Mattresses and box springs of any standard size — foam, innerspring, hybrid, futon.
- Bed frames can ride along. Text a photo and we’ll confirm the add-on.
- We do not take known bedbug mattresses. If we find them on a job, a bio fee may apply.
- Wet or twisted items are bagged. Frozen or falling-apart units may need a second look.
